Limited Driving Privileges (LDP)
Depending upon the reason for your suspension or revocation, you may be eligible for Limited Driving Privileges. Some suspensions/revocations that may be eligible for LDP include: Points Revocations; Breath Test Refusal Revocations (after 90 days); Abuse and Lose Revocations; 5 or 10 year denials (in limited circumstances).
In order to apply for an LDP, you must:
- File proof of SR-22 insurance
- Fill out an application for Limited Driving Privilege and submit it to the DOR, UNLESS you are in a 5 or 10 year denial (see below).
- If you have more than one alcohol related action on your record, you must have an IID installed on all vehicles you will drive.
If you are currently in a 5 or 10 year denial, you must petition the court for an LDP. Please see our page about 5 and 10 year denials for more information.
